The varied events programme consists of dining experiences, seasonal fairs, talks, demonstrations and workshops covering horticulture, forestry, ecology and sustainability.

Wellness: Rebecca Tracey Perfume Workshop
10:00am -13:00pm
Join Rebecca Tracey at Rosara at Nicholsons to create two gorgeous oil based natural perfumes. Rebecca will take you on an olfactive journey to learn how essential oils are created, where they come from within the plants, their incredible properties and what other fragrances they blend well with. All materials and guidance is provided, including refreshments by The Yurt at Nicholsons.

Wellness: An Introduction to Botanical Art at our Spring Fair
10:00am – 16:00pm
Join Victoria Bolduc, a local botanical artist, in the Orchard Barn for a relaxing day of Botanical Art. Victoria will guide you through the fundamental techniques of drawing and watercolours, sharing her knowledge of botanical art. All materials for use during the day will be provided, including refreshments by The Yurt at Nicholsons. Food will be available to purchase at the Spring Fair during the lunch break.

Auction Valuations at Nicholsons

Join Chorley’s Auctioneers in The Orchard Barn for complimentary auction valuations. Meet their experienced team of specialist valuers with no appointment required.
Thursday 15th May

Horticultural Workshop: Willow Obelisk Weaving
10:00am – 16:00pm
Join Dave Jackson, aka The Stick Smith, to weave your very own willow plant supports to grow your climbing plants in style. You will be able to make up to two supports in the day, all materials, tools and weaving jigs will be provided but please bring a pair of secateurs if you have them and ensure you have the means to transport your finished items home afterwards. The day will include refreshments and a two-course lunch at our Michelin-recommended Yurt restaurant.
